Central England is starting to get decidedly autumnal. The wind has picked up, the temperatures have dropped [currently 8 degrees C – feels like 4 degrees C according to the wonderful Accuweather site] – time to get out the woolly pully I think.
Still, this is the time of year that brings out some of the most wonderful colours that Mother Nature has to offer. I am a Scorpio child so this is my favourite time of year. The trees were starting to turn red/gold/brown some weeks ago but then the process seemed to stop as the weather got warmer [28 degrees two weeks ago!] but now, we are on the decline and I expect the trees will start to shed their leaves very soon.
I like to spend as much time as I am able outside – I take a walk or a drive to a woodland or park and snap away with my camera and video. To be able to sit beneath the trees is a very special experience as is to hug them and I feel so calm and peaceful when I do so, it’s certainly something I would recommend you try. I’ll be posting up a few facts about trees and some meditations/exercises in the next couple of days so that you can experience it too.
For those of you in the UK I recommend this website – The Forestry Commission to help you locate your nearest woodland/forest.
